OUIL503- In Cold Blood Cover- Cover 2 Development

Moving on from the roughs, I decided the best image to use was the shotgun as it made the most sense to the actual content of the book. I started to digitally develop the roughs I had made and began to come up with a solution and an idea that worked.

I wanted the cover to be quite dark, to reflect the mysterious elements of the book. I chose to keep the colour scheme as just black and red, with the lettering contrasting in white.
