Brief
This brief was set by the same client as Brief , they were pleased enough with the initial marker brush that they wanted some variations on the brush. The client stated they wanted one 'scruffier' version of the brush, one 'cleaner' version, and one 'dried' version of the marker. I was looking forward to this brief as at the end I could actually market the brushes as a 'pack' to distribute as part of an actual shop that ill be looking to set up soon.
Research
There wasn't much research to be done with this one, as I was just creating several variations on the theme. I spent most of the research phase of the brief looking into how markers can be made to look differently.
Development
Again, the development was really easy, mainly just playing with the original brush to create different versions of it. I wanted the brushes to work harmoniously as a pack, but also be unique enough so that they are easily distinguishable from one another.
Outcome
Hopefully these brushes can form part of my first pack of brushes that I will be looking to sell over the coming weeks. The client was really pleased with the brushes and I've since had 3 new clients come to me for brushes as a direct result of this work which is really cool.
