OUIL505- Saltburn Pier- Initial Ideas

For the Saltburn Pier poster I wanted to really focus on the composition of them image. I wanted to use and unusual viewpoint to keep the image separate from the Runswick Bay image, which will likely focus heavily on the coastal aspect. I chose to produce the image with an almost isometric viewpoint, not only to keep the image interesting but also to reflect the impressive engineering of the structure, almost as if it was from a technical drawing image.

I really like how the roughs were going, however, similarly to the viaduct images, I think I definitely could have explored more ideas and compositions, however I'm really happy with how the image is starting off.

I decided to add in the image of a drink sat on the Pier, as I think this reflects the livelier aspect of the town. Weather this will make it to the final design is yet to be seen.
