OUIL505- Yorkshire Moors- Initial Ideas

My initial ideas for the moors were mainly focussed on the idea of walking and hiking and just generally exploring the location. So I wanted to use one of the signposts you always see when you're walking in these types of locations with the arrows on. I thought that this would portray the idea of using the moors as a place to walk around and explore. However when I thought about it it didn't really make sense to have a post with a directional arrow on it in the middle of an open field, so I guess I'll have to go back and produce a few more roughs that aren't as dumb this time.

Aside from the post, I really like the layout of the image, I think it's probably a good idea to have the ground as close to the base of the image as possible, as I think this enhances the idea of the expansiveness of the moors, and also allows me to play around a bit more with the sky and potential elements within it.
