OUIL505- Subtlety in Gradients

One thing that I am finding myself using more and more in my work is this almost grainy gradient when transitioning colour, especially in shadow. I really like the look of it and I'm really enjoying using it. This is starting to really influence my practice, and I hope to continue to keep using it in future.

The other thing I'm really starting to use a lot more in my practice is really harsh shadows. I think it really adds to the drama of my work and I think it helps to cut away from the simplicity.
